The Challenge

Golf netting poles are exposed to constant environmental stress, including moisture, UV exposure, and cyclic temperature changes. These large-diameter steel members require a durable, uniform coating system that can withstand long-term outdoor service while maintaining appearance and corrosion resistance. Achieving consistent film build across the full length of each pole in a controlled shop environment was critical to long-term performance.

Why Wasser

Wasser’s system was selected for its proven performance in demanding exterior environments and its ability to deliver reliable protection on large structural steel. The combination of MC-Universal 100 primer and MC-Miomastic intermediate provides strong adhesion and barrier protection, while the MC-Luster topcoat delivers a durable, aesthetically consistent finish suited for high-visibility applications like TopGolf installations.

Wasser's Solution

The poles were prepared and coated in a controlled shop setting to ensure proper surface profile and uniform application. A full system consisting of MC-Universal 100 primer, MC-Miomastic intermediate, and MC-Luster topcoat was applied to achieve optimal corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The result is a high-performance coating system that protects the poles from environmental exposure while maintaining a clean, uniform appearance across the installation.
