Wasser Coatings was established with a focus on high-performance corrosion protection for steel and concrete in demanding environments. Early work centered on industrial and infrastructure coatings designed to extend asset life under real-world exposure conditions.

Wasser refined its moisture-cured urethane (MC) systems, enabling reliable application in variable field conditions—particularly in high-moisture and low-temperature environments. These systems became a cornerstone for maintenance coating programs across infrastructure assets.

Wasser coatings were specified on large-scale infrastructure projects, including the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge, supporting long-term corrosion protection of critical steel structures in high-moisture and marine environments. Wasser expanded deeper into marine, energy, and containment applications. Polyurea Innovation & Rapid Return-to-Service

The introduction of Polyflex polyurea systems enabled rapid-curing, high-build applications with minimal downtime. These systems were applied to bridge deck membranes, secondary containment structures, and industrial flooring—offering high-impact, abrasion-resistant protection with fast return-to-service.

Wasser coatings continue to be used on high-visibility and technically demanding structures, including the Space Needle and the Cutler VLF Towers. Additional work includes large propane and storage tanks as well as certified potable water tank linings, demonstrating the breadth of Wasser’s capabilities across critical infrastructure.
